Railroad Story - Train Simulator App Reviews

App continues to crash 1min into the first level :( Looks fun although not to happy i paid for something i cannot play yet...

Ever since the first SM RRT, I have been looking for something that had the same historic simplicity and game play. This one looked to fulfill the void left from the “New” Sid Meier attempt, but alas, the tutorial “campaign” will not display the text in the boxes that are supposed to be telling you what to do, so you basically have to guess…which isn’t a big deal, but the game just doesn’t feel “done”. I’m always feeling like I’m missing something. Finish the game, or repair it to the point of being able to enjoyably play, and I’ll revise my review, but right now…I can’t give it anything higher.

It is a fun/simple game. It is now crashing regularly in Sierra.

The first couple of missions are tiny, tutorial-type games. You are guided by a friendly old railroad engineer. However, when he talks, there are no words! Just blank talk balloons, leaving you guessing what to do.

cant use the escape button when in a level to exit the game. Game crashed when my town could not hold anymore trains, and now i have to start the game all over, and go through the tutorial all over again, for you can not by-pass it. Interesting game once u get past the first 5 levels of tutorials! a lot of bugs, freezes a lot. Sorry i paid for it!

The application crashes on 10.8 on level four, all the time. There is no auto save between levels. When I hit escape I always leave the game, not pause it, theres no way I can tell to manually save the game. Every crash restarts the game from the start. The game could be very interesting and fun, needs some serious polish.

After two reinstallations - it is still crashing… Pity, cause I like the looks of it...

When I playing the first level, i push the "build" button, its crushed…three times. I wont play this game until next version

please update asap - this game is so much fun, but once i downloaded the new Mac OS… it crashes all the time… cant even get through a single level. PLEASE - or i want my money back!

I kind of like this game, but cannot play it because of instability. Pity.

This game is so much fun! I love the historic background and fun minigames. This game can keep you busy for hours! I recomend it to both kids and adults. Unlike most games this game can be played for hours and has a great storyline. A+ application!

Is there NO TESTING on these programs before they are released?!? Cannot get past "4" before a crash. Tried several times. I REALLY want my money back! Save YOUR money for the next release...

The game is simple, but rather exciting. The tasks are varied and interesting. You very quickly understand what is what and how you should play. But the main thing is the atmosphere. If you like games about trains, then I highly recommend you to check this game!

This game will make you a little to think, then you’ll become addicted to it and as a result it will take a lot of your time :). If you’re ready to spend several hours with pleasure – try this railroad simulator.

I have MacBook with Mac OS 10.7.4. Everything works excellently and there were no problems either with the start, or with the further work of the game. The game itself is interesting. Though, maybe I’m just strongly fond of railway and everything connected with it!

Fun to play and quite addicting!!! Keep it up! One qualm I have is that it freezes here and the there. Running on Late 2011 MacBook Pro with high-end graphics. Reminds me of the Civilization genre, but not as good as those games lol!

One sentence is needed to sum this game up! It is a Sim City for trains! This should be a top 10 game on the app store! The graphics are fantastic and the gameplay is simply addicting! You get hours and hours of gameplay for only 2.99! this is one of the few games where both kids and adults can have tons of fun playing it! I played only the minigames alone for hours! Get this game now!
